Case Description
I have a total of eight teeth affected by this, the gums are sensitive and my gums have visibly receded, leaving pockets. My dentist I got to regularly doesn't seem alarmed, but it seems to be getting worse. I have read that skin grafting helps restore gums. How bad does gum recession get before it is too late to stop?

it sounds good that your regular dds does not seem alarmed. however, if you are concerned about it then it should be addressed. your are correct in that grafting is an option as well as several other options. you may want a second opinion from another dentist or a periodontist to help ease your mind. if there is an issue, it is better handled earlier than later.
